DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, you are welcome by our guide. Then you will be dropped at hotel for check in. Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR



Have breakfast at hotel. We start our trip wi th a visit to the Ho Chi Minh complex on the site where he declared Vietnam’s independence in 1945, and see the reverence with which Vietnamese people trea t their “Uncle Ho”. Other sites that we will visit with our local guide include: House 54, Stilt House, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. (Depending on the line and time, we may go inside the mausoleum to see Ho Chi Minh or just walk from outside).
Leaving the Ho Chi Minh Complex we stop at Hoang Thanh Thang Long (The Hanoi Citadel) to learn about this place and the ressistance against the French in late 19th century. We will have lunch at a traditional local Vietnamese restaurant, where our local guide will explain the secrets of this local dish.
 
In the afternoon, continuing on our journey through Hanoi we drive to the Temple of Literature.  Originally built in honour of Confucius by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in 1070, a university was added to the grounds six years later. The university provided education to the royal family and children of the aristocracy or "mandarins". The University remained here until Emperor Gia Long moved the countries administrative capital from Hanoi to Hue in the 18th century then we visit the Museum of Ethnology. Since there is no change for the inside, we will take a quick walk to see the outside display of the Museum, which features some typical houses and tombs of Vietamese minorities such as Viet, Muong, Bana, Co Tu, H’mong, Tay, Thai…
 
Return to the Old Quarter, we will enjoy a cyclo (rickshaw) orientation tour for 45 minutes through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. This bustling area of narrow streets and alley ways houses thousands of small family businesses and shops Traveling by cyclo is the way to get a real feeling for the town as well as some great photographs. Enjoy water puppet show in the end of day.  Drop you at hotel.
 From Friday to Sunday, walking street is operated in Old Quarter and Hoan Hiem Lake where you can join traditional dance, folk songs by street actors, they also show folk games as Bamboo dancing, spinning tops, mandarin square Capturing, Stilt walking, bamboo jacks etc.

DAY 3: HANOI – NINH BINH -  HOA LU - TRANG AN 



Have breakfast a hotel and depart to Ninh Binh, northeast 130km from Hanoi. It takes only 2,5 hour by car. The old city of Ninh Binh is one of many famous historic sites in Vietnam.
10:30: We will arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and visit 2 Temples of 2 Kings (Dinh Bo Linh and Le Hoan). In the late 10th century, Hoa Lu was the capital as well as the economic, political and cultural center of Đại Cồ Việt, an independent Vietnamese polity founded in 968 A.D. by the local warlord Đinh Bộ Lĩnh (posthumously known as Đinh Tiên Hoàng, or "First Dinh Emperor"),
12:00 We have an hour for lunch at local restaurant . There, you will have a chance to enjoy local specialties.
After lunch, we take a boat trip to explore the cave complex in Trang An . Enjoy peaceful moments with clear water, fresh air and spectacular views of mountainous areas. Trang An Landscape Complex is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs. This area was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
16:00:  Our driver will take you to hotel in Ninh Binh.  Dinner is served at local restaurant. Stay overnight at hotel in Ninh Binh.

DAY 4: NINH BINH – HALONG BAY



Enjoy breakfast at hotel, depart to Halong bay by private car/ coach, it takes 4 hours passing through a number of North Vietnamese towns and villages. Upon arrival you will be welcomed aboard your traditional junk; designed in the same style as those that have sailed the bay for 100’s of years. Begin a relaxing and unforgettable cruise around the breathtaking and unique limestone karsts and islets. A delicious fresh seafood lunch will be served as you cruise this spectacular bay, a UNESCO listed site.  After lunch you will explore some of Halong Bay's famous caves by bamboo boat or kayaking based on your preference. And then reach on the top of Soi Sim beach to have a panorama view of Halong Bay.  All activities arranged by the cruise are on a shared basis. 
Return to your junk boat to watch a cooking class or fruits & vegetable carving on sundeck – How to make spring rolls. Then enjoy Sunset Party together and Happy Hour (buys two drinks, gets one free from 18.00 to 19.00). It is time for chit chat and relaxing before enjoy your dinner and evening activities around the bar. 

Please note: Program may differ slightly base on cruise ships. An extra night can be added to the program. If your time is flexible, we highly recommend it.

DAY 5: HALONG BAY -  HANOI – DA NANG – HOI AN / FLIGHT

Wake to see the sunrise over the spectacular horizon, reflecting in the pristine waters of the bay, with a cup of tea or coffee. Then join a Tai Chi class on the sundeck if you wish before enjoying breakfast in the fresh air. Continue to sail around this natural wonder. Visit to the Sung Sot Cave by walking up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat. Proper shoes are highly recommended. Return to the boat then check-out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A la carte lunch is served. The crew will bid you farewell and you disembark with our tender boat to the Tuan Chau Pier.  Return your Hanoi hotel by cruise’s shuttle bus to collect big baggage and take a private transfer to Hanoi airport for your short flight to Hue, Vietnam's most beautiful city, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on the central coast of Vietnam. After lunch/ brunch on cruise, you meet your private tour guide again, guide and driver takes you back Hanoi and transferred to Noi Bai airport for flight to Da Nang. Continue your journey to Central Vietnam. Upon arrival in Da Nang Airport, local guide welcome you and transfer to hotel in Hoi An. Stay overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

DAY 6: HOI AN CITY TOUR



We discover how the traditions of the past are treasured in the present in Hoi An on the Thu Bon River, a key international trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries – now a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved, centuries-old streets, dwellings, temples and pagodas, touring Hoi An's historic highlights, explore its shop-lined streets, view the red-painted Japanese Covered Bridge - the three Chinese characters over the door mean "bridge for passers-by from afar" and tour the 200-year-old "Phung Hung" house, noted for its unique architecture. What you'll see there will reveal much about the lives of Hoi An merchants long ago. Visit the workshop of a traditional lantern maker for a demonstration of this time-honored craft; meet the artisans and try your skills as you create your own lantern to take home.  Hoi An, the cobblestone streets in the old French Quarter are a delight to roam with many cafes, art galleries and handicraft shops. Hoi An is especially well known for its local artists and tailor made clothing, with over sixty shops providing this service in town.  The remainder of the day is free at leisure.

DAY 7: HOI AN – HUE

Have breakfast at hotel and then depart to Hue, stop in Da Nang visit Cham Museum- it is the largest collection of Cham sculpture and artwork in the world. Continue to Hue via Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass). Enjoy a stunning headland-and-bay panoramic view from high above the pass, which for miles hugs the mountainside along the shoreline and overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  The mountain range has created a barrier to the cold airstreams from the north which often results in thick cloudbanks over the peaks. The pass has been a strategic military focal point during Vietnam's turbulent history and from the top there are views of the curve of Da Nang Bay.  Arrive in Hue in the late afternoon.

DAY 8: HUE CITY TOUR



In the morning, enjoy a half-day city tour to visit Hue Citadel - Vietnam’s former imperial capital and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. With an area of 500ha and a system of three circles of ram parts, namely from outside to inside: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel) and Khai Dinh Tomb, Hue Citadel is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern. Have lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a cruise along the Perfume River, visiting Minh Mang Tomb (one of Nguyen Emperors). Take cruise Perfume River and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda - an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. Continue journey to Dong Ba Market, free for shopping and purchase traditional gift. Drive back hotel, you are free time in the evening.

DAY 9: HUE  - PHONG NHA CAVE – HUE



Have breakfast at hotel in Hue. 700: Depart from Hue for 2 and half hours to Phong Nha Cave. On the way we stop to visit some of the most famous battle-field in Vietnam War: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, lying in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
Have lunch at a local restaurant then get on a boat trip along the river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves.
The Phong Nha cave is the longest wet cave or river cave in the world. The extremely large subterranean river system is running through the entire cave, however, there are some large dry chambers in the cave which the water doesn’t reach anymore. The cave is divided in to three different sections, each section is home to different animal species and there is a big difference in temperature.
After on boat for 700 m, a large dry passage appears, then you can walk to discover the cave. You will have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside. Return to Hue in late afternoon.
19.30: Arrive in Hue, drop you at hotel. Stay overnight at hotel in Hue.

DAY 10: HUE – HO CHI MINH – HALF DAY CITY TOUR/ FLIGHT



After breakfast at hotel, you are transferred to Hue aiport for domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
Upon arrival in Tan Son Nhat airport, local guide warmly  welcome you takes you visit famous sightseeing in city as War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery, aircraft, weapons, photos, and documentation of Vietnam War with the both the French and Americans; Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica as a French-built neo-Roman cathedral; Saigon Old Central Post Office; former Presidential Palace; Thien Hau Pagoda which was built in 1760 to worship a female Sea deity and Cho Lon, the city’s China town.

DAY 11: MEKONG FULL DAY ( MY THO )



Morning, get on our private air-conditioned car to travel to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho City, capital of Tieng Giang Provine, embark on a boat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on the Unicorn Island and enjoy wandering through verdant orchards, tasting fresh fruits and listening to some Southern style traditional music. 
 Move on to the second delta province, Ben Tre, where you will watch local villagers make coconut candy in a rural workshop, walk around briefly and leisurely sit on a horse-pulled carriage to experience the local life. Cruising to some bee-keeping households to taste fresh homegrown honey and honey tea. Go back Ho Chi Minh City and drop you at hotel. You are free at your leisure in the evening, discover city by night by yourself.

DAY 12 : HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE

Travel Visa


Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.

Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application   

We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

Step 3: Send the visa approval letter via email to you after 5 - 7 working days   

After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).

Step 4: Get your visa stamp on your arrival   

Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD ( cash) for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa and $50 for 3 multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.
