DAY 1: VIENTIANE  ARRIVAL

 
Upon arrival at Wattay International Airport, you will be met on arrival and transferred to hotel for check in and relax

DAY 2:  VIENTIANE – FULL DAY CITY TOUR – LUANG PRABANG / FLIGHT

 
After breakfast, we start to visit Wat Sisaket, the city's oldest temple. Dates back to 1818, Wat Sisaket is the most important heritage temple now standing in Laos. It houses thousands of Buddha images from many countries, long lost architectural styles, sculptures and paintings; Wat Prakeo, former royal temple of the Lao monarchy and originally built in 1565, is home to the Emerald Buddha image, Buddhist sculptures are displayed  along the perimeter wall, including a 6th to 9th century Dvaravati-style stone Buddha and several standing and sitting Buddhas. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph
Afternoon we will visit COPE center and hand weaving village at Ban Nong Buathong tai before drop you off at airport for take flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival then met our guide and transfer to hotel for check in and relax

DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG – CITY TOUR – PAK OU CAVE



 
Today we will visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign; Wat Mai and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside as well as explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. We stop en route at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On way back we will visit Ban Xangkhong and also Ban Phanom village
We then climb up 328 steps of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. We then will explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the hill tribe and local people surrounding Luang Prabang.

DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG – BAN CHAN  - KHOUANG SI WATERFALL



This is the morning when you need your alarm clock! Early in the morning after a sustaining beverage and a small snack, you’ll witness one of Laos’ unique ceremonies – the daily ‘alms giving’ ritual of saffron-clad monks walking in a long line holding black bowls to receive offerings from local people. Then visit local morning market before back to hotel
 
Today we cross the Mekong River by boat, to the picturesque village of Ban Chan, a pottery village and we then will drive to visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, a Hmong village, Ban Ou a Laoloum village and Ban Thapene, Khmu villages.  This then takes us to the beautiful Khuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. We then return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon

DAY 5: LUANG PRABANG – HANOI/ FLIGHT
 
Have breakfast at hotel. Free until time to go airport for flight to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, local guide welcome you and take you to hotel for check in.  Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia. You are transferred to hotel in Hanoi for check in. You are free and leisure for shopping or exploree Hanoi by night

DAY 6: HANOI CITY TOUR



 
Morning, start a city tour beginning with Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. At the complex, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the nation ’s founder’s body is preserved (closed on Monday, Friday and through October - November), the colonial Presidential Palace, originally the French Governor Office and a fine example of French architecture in Hanoi, and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked. Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Avalokiteshvara or Buddha of Compassion and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars.  Have lunch at restaurant.


Afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long with its ruins and reconstruction, a UNESCO-recognized World Cultural Heritage Site whose history dates back to 1010 and ranging over four dynasties of Ly, Tran, Le and Nguyen. Proceed to the city’s central area to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the center point of Hanoi and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Its name “Returned Sword” comes from a legend of a sacred sword being lent to an ancient Vietnamese King by a holy turtle from the lake and later returned to the turtle. Visit Hanoi Old Quarter by cyclo and discover special Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry as well as Vietnamese folklore through a compelling puppet show at Thang Long Theatre.

DAY 7 : HANOI – HALONG BAY/ OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE
 
Morning pickup at 8:00 AM from your hotel for transfer to Halong Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. Stop half way to visit a handicraft workshop of fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrive in Halong City at 11:30 AM and check in aboard the  booked traditional junk right after the welcome drink is served. Start cruising while having lunch on board and enjoy the marvelous bay view. Halong Bay meaning “Descending Dragon Bay” in Vietnamese as legend has it that it was where a holly dragon landed down from the sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2. The bay cruise will continue with up close sighting of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, a visit to Sung Sot Cave and swimming stop at Titov Beach. Relax to enjoy the bay view at sunset, have dinner after, go fishing at 09:00 PM and spend a night on board.

DAY 8: HALONG BAY – HANOI/ FLY TO DA NANG – HOI AN
 
Wake up at 06:30 AM and refresh your body and mind with a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck. Tai Chi is an ancient internal martial art often practiced in soft and gracefully slow moves to enhance internal harmony and vitality. Sip a cup of tea or coffee onboard before proceeding to Titov Islet or Soi Sim Island for trekking and swimming. Check out at 09:30 AM, have a buffet brunch while cruising back to the shore. Drive back Hanoi, transfer to airport for flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival in Da Nang, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver and transfer to hotel in Hoi An for check in.

 DAY 9: HOI AN CITY TOUR




Morning, take a town tour of Hoi An to see its beauty up close. Included for your sightseeing will be the town’s iconic 400-year-old Covered Bridge with a small temple attached to one side as a prominent example of Japanese architecture, the Museum of Trade Ceramics which is an elegant Vietnamese style wooden house built in 1858 showcasing antique ceramic artifacts, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House typifying an ancient Chinese merchant residence, the Ong Temple built in 1653 by Chinese settlers to worship Guan Yu, an ancient Chinese general whose character stands for loyalty, bravery and justice. Enjoy strolling the small streets of antique low tile-roofed houses, which reflect the town’s multi-cultural past. Have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, you are free for shopping in Hoi An ancient town and relaxing at Cua Dai Beach.

DAY 10: HOI AN – HUE HALF DAY CITY TOUR

 
Morning, transfer to Hue in your private vehicle. The overland journey will take you through the most beautiful scenery in Vietnam as you traverse the Hai Van, or “Cloudy Pass.” There will be plenty of photo opportunities and stops at beaches en route.

Arrival Hue, check in the hotel and transfer to discover Hue Citadel, a well-known UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site which is a 520 ha fortress-like grand complex built in the early 1800s and featuring three enclosures separated by heavy ramparts namely Kinh Thanh Hue (Civic City) as the outer, Hoang Thanh (Royal City) as the middle and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden City) as the inner. Move on to Khai Dinh Tomb, the burial site of Khai Dinh, Vietnam’s second-to-last king, and the most elaborate compared to other kings’ tombs. The tomb shows a vivid European influence in architecture despite its Asian style. Stop by Dong Ba market, the city’s traditional commercial center, for shopping.

DAY 11: HUE HALF DAY CITYT TOUR – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY/ FLIGHT

Take a cruise along the Perfume River, visiting Minh Mang Tomb (one of Nguyen Emperors). Back Perfume River and visit the Thien Mu Pagoda - an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. Have lunch at restaurant. Transfer to Hue airport for flight to Saigon. Local guide welcome you and take you to hotel for check in. Free at your leisure in the evening.

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNEL – HALF DAY CITY TOUR

 
Morning, meet our guide at your hotel and transfer about 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and the Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges.

Afternoon, you have a half day city tour around Ho Chi Minh city starting first with the Reunification Palace, which was formerly the South Vietnam President’s residence and symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until end of April 1975. Next, stop at Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built over 130 years ago by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles. Visit Sai Gon Post Office, a fine colonial building which was designed and built in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Move on to Cho Lon or the city’s China Town where you will visit the Jade Emperor Temple (Phuoc Hai), a rare Taoist structure in Vietnam built in 1909 in dedication to the Lord of Heaven.

DAY 13: HO CHI MINH – MY THO – HO CHI MINH



Morning, get on our private air-conditioned car to travel to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho City, capital of Tieng Giang Provi ne, embark on a boat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. You will land on the Unicorn Island to enjoy wandering through verdant orchards, tasting fresh fruits and listening to some Southern style traditional music. 
 
Move on to the second delta province, Ben Tre, where you will watch local villagers make coconut candy in a rural workshop, walk around briefly and leisurely sit on a horse-pulled carriage to experience the local life. Cruising to some bee-keeping households to taste fresh homegrown honey and honey tea. Go back Ho Chi Minh City and transferred to Tan Son Nhat airport for flight to Hanoi.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, local guide welcome you and take you to hotel for check in.

Travel Visa


Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

Visa to Vietnam 

This is an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country.  

Step 1: Provide us your application details

Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application   

We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

Step 3: Send the visa approval letter via email to you after 5 - 7 working days   

After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then have been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).

Step 4: Get your visa stamp on your arrival   

Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD ( cash) for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa and $50 for 3 multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.       

Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or contact us to require an arrival form) 

Visa to Laos

You can easily get Laos visa on arrival in most border crossings and all Lao International airports. 

Here are simple steps to help you get Laos visa on arrival.

-  You need 2 passport size photos.
-  Valid passport ( at least 6 months)
-  You need to pay fee of about USD 20-45 (Remark: the fee is varied, depending on your nationality)

2.    Luang Prabang International Airport in Luang Prabang Province.
3.    Pakse International Airport in Pakse.
